Our new 'Understanding Gender' training is for anyone working with or caring for young people. We will learn about different gender identities (such as trans and non-binary), as well as the impact of gender stereotypes and gender based discrimination. We will offer some approaches for engaging with contemporary issues such as tackling rising misogyny, navigating pressures around masculinity, and supporting gender questioning young people.
We will share knowledge and approaches to help you design and deliver quality RSE, understand its transformative potential, and build your confidence answering tricky questions.
