A lot of these websites offer free and confidential advice. This might be through helplines you call, or an online chat you can message. This means you can talk to experts without having to give them any of your details, or pay any money.

Childline has support pages on loads of topics, including things like: puberty, friendships, bullying and managing difficult emotions like anxiety and loneliness. They also offer free, confidential 1-2-1 counselling online or you can call them on 0800 1111 for anyone aged 18 and under.

Brook is a website with lots of clear and reliable information on topics like sexual health, contraception, understanding your anatomy, gender, sexuality and relationships.

This NHS tool helps you find your local sexual health clinic, and shows you which clinics offer special drop-ins for Under 17s and Under 25s.

The SH:24 tool helps you compare different types of contraception, with information about effectiveness, health benefits and potential side effects.

The Proud Trust has lots of information and support for young people exploring their gender or sexuality, including a tool to search for local LGBTQIA+ youth groups.

Shore is a safe space for teenagers worried about sexual behaviour. This might include things like: you’re worried about a friend’s sexual behaviour, you’ve shared a nude, or been sent one, you’re worried you’ve harmed someone sexually. They offer anonymous expert advice.

Report and Remove is an online tool to help young people under 18 in the UK to confidentially report sexual images and videos of themselves and remove them from the internet. This includes fakes created using AI.
Report Harmful Content is a site where you can self-report threats, hacked accounts, intimate image abuse, sextortion (when someone is coerced into giving money to keep sexual things private) and other harmful content.

This page by Childline answers some common questions about what counts as sexual abuse, and offers support for opening up to an adult about it.
If you have experienced sexual assault, you can find your nearest Sexual Assault Referral Centre to access support. These are open to everyone, regardless of gender, age, the type of incident, or when it happened. This animation explains more about the support they offer.
